[Okfuskee County]

VISITATION SCHEDULE

The non-custodial parent shall have visitation with all minor children of the parties as follows, unless otherwise agreed by the parties:

I       REGULAR VISITATION

Every other weekend from 6 p.m. Friday to 8 p.m. Sunday

II      HOLIDAY VISITATION

In odd numbered years the non-custodial parent shall have visitation on the following schedule of holidays:

Easter:                        6 p.m. Friday preceding Easter until 10 p.m. Sunday

              July 4:                         7 p.m. evening preceding July 4 until 10 p.m. on July 4.

Thanksgiving:             6 p.m. Wednesday preceding Thanksgiving until 10 p.m. Sunday

Christmas:                  7 p.m. day school is out until 10 p.m. Christmas eve

In even numbered years the non-custodial parent shall have visitation on the following schedule of holidays:

Spring School Break:  12 noon 2d day until 12 noon last day

Memorial Day:            7 p.m. Friday preceding Memorial Day until 10 p.m. Monday

Labor Day:                  6 p.m. Friday preceding Labor Day until 10 p.m. Monday

Christmas:                  12 noon Christmas Day until 10 p.m. January 1

The holiday visitation schedule set out above is to be observed whether or not it coincides with the regular every other week visitation schedule and is in addition thereto. However, it is intended that the holidays alternate between custodial and non-custodial parents. Therefore, on those occasions when non-custodial visitation is ordinarily scheduled on a holiday set aside to the custodial parent, the non-custodial visitation shall not take place.

III     SPECIAL VISITATION

With respect to Father's Day and Mother's Day, if the father is the non-custodial parent, and if Father's Day falls on a weekend not regularly scheduled for parental visitation, he shall have visitation on Father's Day from 12 noon until 10 p.m. If Mother's Day falls within a weekend of the father's visitation, he shall return the child or children to the mother by 12 noon on Mother's Day. If the mother is the non-custodial parent, the reverse shall apply.

IV    SUMMER VISITATION

The non-custodial parent shall have summer visitation from 8 a.m. June 15 until 10 p.m. June 30 and from 8 a.m. August 1 until 10 p.m. August 15.

V     INTERPRETATION

It is important to be aware that this visitation schedule is for the purpose of providing assured minimum amounts of visitation between non-custodial parent and child or children. Visitation should exceed the number of occasions set out herein. In addition, liberal telephone communications between non-custodial parent and child or children are encouraged and should occur. Visitation should be exercised with sensitivity to the needs and reasonable request of children; for examples, 10 p.m. returns may be too late for small children with much earlier bedtimes; and the special school, athletic and church events of children should be given appropriate respect.
