        f.    The holiday visitation schedule set out above takes precedence over the regular alternating weekend visitation and summer visitation schedules and is in addition thereto. It is intended that the holidays alternate between custodial and non-custodial parents. Therefore, on those occasions when non-custodial visitation is ordinarily scheduled on a holiday set aside for the custodial parent, the non-custodial visitation shall not take place.

3.     SUMMER VISITATION:

        a.   The non-custodial parent shall have the child(ren) five weeks in the summer months of June, July and August to be exercised two (2) contiguous weeks each in June and July and one (1) week in August with at least one week between each period upon a schedule agreed to by the parents no latter than May 1. For the purpose of Summer Visitation, a week shall be seven (7) days beginning 6:00 p.m. Sunday and ending 6:00 p.m. Saturday.

        b.   In the event that the parents do not or can not come to an agreement for the exercise of summer visitation by May 1; then the non-custodial parent shall have the child(ren) for a two (2) week period in June beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the first (1st) Sunday of June; for a two (2) week period in July beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the second (2nd) Sunday of July; and, for a one (1) week period in August beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the first (1st) Sunday of August. For the purpose of Summer Visitation, a week shall be seven (7) days beginning 6:00 p.m. Sunday and ending 6:00 p.m. Saturday.

        c.   The regular weekend visitation shall resume on the weekend immediately following the first day of school with the non-custodial parent's regular weekend visitation beginning on the first weekend after the first day of school. Regular weekend visitation thereafter shall alternate, with the exception of the above holiday visitation until May 31st at which time the Summer Visitation shall begin.

5.     OTHER PROVISIONS:

        a.   The purpose of this visitation schedule is for providing assured minimum amounts of visitation between the non-custodial parent and the child(ren). In this regard, the parents may temporarily modify this visitation schedule by agreement (preferably in writing) to meet the personal needs of each parent and/or minor child(ren) or the changing needs of the parents and/or minor child(ren) such as family emergency, illness, school activities, extracurricular activities, church activities or the like when circumstances necessitate so long as the non-custodial parent shall receive visitation equal to that provided by the above visitation schedule. Whenever possible, visitation should exceed the number of occasions set out in the above visitation schedule.

        b.   Should circumstances or situations present themselves that the non-custodial parent can not exercise visitation on an occasion under the provisions of the above visitation schedule, the non-custodial parent shall promptly notify the custodial parent at the earliest time when it becomes apparent that the visitation can not be exercised. Under such circumstances, the non-custodial parent does not forfeit or loose the visitation but the parents should promptly agree on an appropriate make-up visitation. The same consideration shall apply should circumstances or situations present themselves to the custodial parent where exercise of a scheduled visitation by the non-custodial parent can not occur, or illness of the child(ren).

        c.   Toys and clothes belonging to the child(ren) should travel freely between households and shall be returned with the child(ren) in a clean and orderly manner.

        d.   Medication to be given to a child shall be clearly labeled and provided to the non-custodial parent in sufficient quantities to last the duration of the visitation and with specifically clear instructions on the dosage, duration and manner it should be administered.

        e.   In addition to the above visitation schedule, liberal telephone communications between the non-custodial parent and the child(ren) are encouraged and should occur on a regular basis at reasonable times. Liberal telephone communications are also encouraged and should occur on a regular basis at reasonable times between the custodial parent and the child(ren) during the non-custodial parent's visitation.
