STANDARD VISITATION SCHEDULE

The non-custodial parent shall have visitation with all minor children of the parties as follows:

Regular Visitation:          Every other weekend from 6:00 p.m. Friday until 6:00 p.m. Sunday commencing on _______________, 200_.

If regular weekend visitation is preceded by or followed by a day school is not in session (i.e. for a teacher’s meeting, Martin Luther King Day, etc.) the regular weekend visitation shall be expanded to include the school recess (i.e., form 6:00 the Thursday before a Friday or until 6:00 on Monday, whichever applies).

Every other Monday from the time school is dismissed until 8:00 p.m. (It is intended that said Monday visitation shall immediately follow all weekends not preceded by the weekend visitation described above. It is further intended that the non-custodial parent be allowed to pick up the child(ren) up from school or day care if applicable and practical under the circumstances.

Holiday Visitation:          In odd numbered years (i.e. 2003, etc.) the non-custodial parent shall have visitation on the following schedule of holidays:

Spring Break: From 6:00 p.m. on the Friday prior to Spring Break in the resident school district until 6:00 p.m. on the Sunday following Spring Break.

Labor Day: From 6:00 p.m. on Friday preceding Labor Day until 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Christmas: From 6:00 p.m. the day school is out in the resident school district continuing for seven (7) consecutive days to 6:00 p.m. the seventh day; provided, however, that said visitation shall never commence prior to December 19^th of a given year. (For purposes of this calculation, the day school dismisses is not counted.)

In even numbered years (i.e. 2004, etc.) the non-custodial parent shall have visitation on the following schedule of holidays:

Spring Break: The weekend seven (7) days prior to Spring Break in the resident school district from until 6:00 p.m. Friday until 6:00 p.m. Sunday. (This provision is intended to insure the non-custodial parent is not denied visitation for an extended period.)

Memorial Day: From 6:00 p.m. on Friday preceding Memorial Day until 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Thanksgiving: From 6:00 p.m. the day school is out in the resident school district until 6:00 p.m. the Sunday following Thanksgiving.

Christmas: From 6:00 p.m. the 7^th day after school is out in the resident school district until 6:00 p.m. the day preceding the start of school in the resident school district. (For purposes of this calculation, the day school is out is not counted.)

Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Visitation:

The father is to have the children on Father’s Day and the mother is to have the children on Mother’s Day from 6:00 p.m. on Saturday before the holiday until 6:00 p.m. on the holiday. This rule is in addition to and prevails over regular weekend visitation.

Summer Visitation:         The non-custodial parent shall have three (3) periods of visitation and each period shall last two weeks. The summer visitation shall commence at 6:00 p.m. the first Sunday after Memorial Day and continue for two weeks ending a 6:00 p.m. on that Sunday.

The second summer visitation period shall commence two weeks after the end of the first visitation period, again beginning at 6:00 p.m. the first Sunday and ending at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday two weeks later.

The third visitation period shall commence two weeks after the end of the second visitation period, again beginning at 6:00 p.m. the first Sunday and ending at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday two weeks later.

All regular visitation is suspended during the summer visitation period with the exception of the Father’s Day visitation which shall occur as outlined previously herein.

The schedule of regular visitation set out above shall resume on the second (2^nd) Friday after the end of the summer visitation periods.

Transportation of the child(ren) to accommodate this schedule shall be shared by the parents with the receiving parent providing the transportation at the beginning or end of each visitation period, as applicable; provided, however, the non-custodial parent shall be responsible for all transportation necessary to exercise the regular Monday visitation.

All toys and clothes belong to the child(ren) and should travel freely between households and shall be returned with the child(ren) in a clean and orderly manner.

It is important to be aware that this visitation schedule is for the purpose of providing assured minimum amounts of visitation between the non-custodial parent and the child or children. Visitation should exceed the number of occasions set out herein. In addition, liberal telephone communications between the non-custodial parent and child or children are encouraged and should occur.
